Professor Kruijt presents us with the truth and reality of Peruvian politics as pursued and partly implemented by the Velasco administration between 1968 and 1975. Drawing upon taped interviews with prominent people of the period – ministers, ambassadors, military and civil advisors – he offers a balanced account of the Revolutionary Process.
